Job Description
- Design, install and configure Red Hat OpenShift clusters (IPI/UPI, on-premise, virtualized or cloud)
- Deploy, maintain and evolve OpenShift and Kubernetes production environments
- Administer and optimize Unix/Linux systems (mainly RHEL)
- Manage the lifecycle of clusters: upgrades, patching, image and operator management
- Implement best security practices (RBAC, secrets, encryption, policies, audit)
- Ensure storage management (Persistent Volumes, StorageClasses, NAS/SAN integration, Ceph, NFS)
- Configure and optimize network components (CNI, ingress/egress, load balancing, service mesh)
- Set up observability solutions (monitoring, logging, alerting via Prometheus, Grafana, EFK/Loki)
- Implement backup & recovery strategies (etcd, workloads via Velero, DRP/BCP)
- Participate in RUN activities (L2/L3 support): diagnosis, incident resolution, continuous improvement
- Contribute to application migration projects to OpenShift with minimal impact
- Ensure capacity planning, performance and autoscaling of environments
- Write and maintain technical documentation (architecture, procedures, runbooks)
- Participate in on-call duties and ensure service continuity
Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration
- Significant experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes in production
- Good mastery of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Strong skills in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, security) and storage (SAN/NAS)
- Mastery of Kubernetes concepts: deployments, services, operators, RBAC, etc.
- Knowledge of security (IAM, SAML/OIDC, policies)
- Experience with monitoring and backup tools
- Ability to operate in complex and critical environments
