The Basic Banking Projects and Engineering department is responsible for the development and successful implementation of initiatives focusing on the digitization, modernization, and automation of services and solutions in Basic Banking. This includes the product areas of deposit business, debit and credit cards, package solutions, as well as cash supply. In close collaboration with our stakeholders, we accompany projects from the idea through conception to implementation, thus creating sustainable added value for our customers and the bank.
Your tasks
- Personnel management of a department with 18 Business Engineers, Product Owners, and Project Managers as well as promoting their professional and personal development to jointly achieve ambitious goals
- Designing the portfolio roadmap, ensuring the necessary implementation capacities, guaranteeing cross-portfolio coordination, as well as prioritizing and managing the project portfolio in your area of responsibility
- Driving initiatives in your area of responsibility in close cooperation with product management and bank-wide stakeholders
- Participation in the management committee to actively shape the further development, digitization, and positioning of our products and services
- Development of new processes and services that meet the requirements of our customers and the bank
- Coordination and leadership of relevant committees and sounding boards to manage the project portfolio
Your profile
- University degree in business informatics, engineering, business administration, or a comparable field, ideally with further training in project or portfolio management
- Several years of experience in project and program management in the financial industry
- Experience in leading and motivating interdisciplinary teams
- Leadership qualities and the ability to foster an open and innovative team culture
- Analytical, strategic, and networked thinking
- Experience with agile methods (e.g., SAFe)
- Strong communication skills in German and confidence in dealing with various management levels
- Familiarity with cross-departmental collaboration and complex stakeholder management
