Job description:

In your new role, your tasks will impact the quality of patient care. Your role will notably include:

• Care and support for adult outpatient oncology and hematology patients
• First nursing consultation
• Preparation, administration, and monitoring of chemotherapy for outpatient and hospitalized patients
• Reference and expertise in venous access (Port-a-cath; DAVI; Picc-line) for GHOL

Required profile:

• Previous experience in general care; experience in this specialty would be an asset
• Strong interest in supporting and assisting oncology patients
• Developed interpersonal skills; ability to support, inform, and reassure these patients, demonstrating empathy
• Proof of social skills and a confident attitude
• Physical and emotional resilience
• Constructive attitude
• Knowledge of the local support network

Education level:

Bachelor of Science HES-SO in Nursing required (or equivalent title recognized by the Swiss Red Cross)

CAS or DAS in oncology would be an asset
