The Business Unit East Switzerland consists of approximately 60 employees and serves the eastern part of Switzerland. The Business Unit has its office premises in the form of a branch office in the city of Zurich.
To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed and entrepreneurial-minded personality as Business Development Manager (m/f/d) who will successfully drive the planned growth together with the existing team.

Your tasks:
- Independent management of the entire sales process, building a sustainable new business pipeline and leading complex IFM/Hard Services deals – from initial contact through solution design and proposal presentation to winning the mandate
- Negotiating and successfully closing sales opportunities to achieve and exceed the agreed sales targets within the defined target markets of the Business Unit.
- Developing and expanding long-term customer relationships with existing, new, and potential clients.
- Maintaining relationships and providing post-sale support to build mutual trust in line with the agreed business strategy.
- Identifying and building a long-term active customer base, exploring existing markets and tapping into new market opportunities
- Using innovative means to access new sources of profitable business.
- Taking full responsibility for developing and delivering compelling sales and tender documents and presentations in accordance with company standards.
- Preparing tenders and related documents involving specialized support functions (procurement, HR, QHS, etc.) as well as local managers, including cross-border collaboration and benchmarking within regions.
- Keeping up to date with industry developments and being aware of competitor activities and market trends.
Your profile:
- Proven experience in sales/business development in a relevant environment (facility management, building management, technical plant support)
- Experience in developing high-quality sales solutions with proven experience coordinating internal and external stakeholders in the solution process
- Experience in creating high-quality sales materials and delivering presentations at a high level
- Fluent oral and written language skills in German and English
- Experience dealing with a range of people, including on-site employees, suppliers, and customers.
- Experience in surveying technical plants and calculating maintenance and upkeep of technical plants
- You are goal-oriented and comfortable in a high-pressure sales environment.
- You must demonstrate strong customer orientation and promote team spirit within the office.
- You must be able to influence others and gain the trust of leadership through personal, telephone, and written communication.
- Independence: You must be able to work both alone and in a team.
