- SIEN205
- The SIEN is responsible for the IT of the State and its partners (municipalities, schools, health, social and parapublic sector). It defines the IT strategy with its partners, studies the needs, proposes overall IT concepts, and provides a range of services for all public communities in Neuchâtel.
You participate in the implementation of IT projects, particularly on aspects related to network architecture and security. In this capacity, you propose and develop network and security architectures adapted to the needs of public entities as well as SIEN partners. You also ensure the sustainability and maintainability of the deployed technical solutions. Furthermore, you contribute to the administration of network infrastructures (MPLS Backbone, Datacenter, WIFI, ...) and security (Firewall, Internet Proxy, VPN, NAC, ...).
Holder of an engineering degree (bachelor or master) in computer science or telecommunications or an equivalent level, you have several years of experience and master Cisco products, switching and routing as well as security techniques (Firewall, VPN, etc.). Knowledge of Fortinet products is an asset. Your skills allow you to analyze and effectively solve problems related to networks and telecommunications systems. Comfortable working in a team, you demonstrate good organizational skills and real interpersonal ease, both with users and external partners. French is your working language, complemented by knowledge of technical English. A category B driving license is required.
