Bauwerk Parquet is proud to announce that it has obtained FloorScore® certification for all its hardwood floors, including 2-ply, 3-ply, and solid wood floors. Bauwerk has a long history of environmental leadership and demonstrates this through systematic checks carried out by independent third parties, such as the eco-INSTITUT, the Sentinel Haus Institute, and now the FloorScore® certification.
FloorScore® is a certification program established by the Resilient Floor
Covering Institute (RFCI) for hard floor coverings and floor covering adhesives that meet strict indoor air quality (IAQ) requirements. Regular factory audits are also required.
Products bearing the FloorScore® label meet the indoor air quality emission criteria of LEED, CHPS, the Green Guide for Health Care
, and are recognized by a long list of other healthy building programs.
While the certification program is particularly recognized for the North American flooring market, it is used worldwide and is an advantage when building rating programs such as LEED are required.
