The largest outdoor pool in the city of Zurich is waiting for you! At the Mythenquai beach pool, up to 10,000 guests enjoy sun, lake, and summer vibes on hot days – and we make sure they also get culinary delights. With our healthy enjoyment, we inspire young and old directly by the water – fresh, heartfelt, and with a touch of Hiltl wow. As Management Hiltl at the Beach, you lead this unique location with entrepreneurial foresight, a host's heart, and a strong team by your side.
From May, we take over the gastronomy at the Mythenquai pool. To prepare, you will start in April in our Hiltl restaurants. For the Management Hiltl at the Beach, we are looking for motivated hosts with heart, organizational talent, and enthusiasm.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- You take overall responsibility for our location – and develop it strategically
- You lead, motivate, and coach a team of up to 40 employees – with heart, clarity, and joy
- You keep an eye on and control budget, cost control, and profitability
- You organize daily operations – including events and special promotions
- You consistently ensure quality, hygiene & safety
- You implement and help shape the Hiltl strategy
- You handle guest feedback professionally and empathetically – complaints are an opportunity for you, not a stress factor
- Personnel planning, development, and deployment planning are also part of your responsibilities
- You work closely with management and specialist departments – always with a view of the whole
YOU BRING
- A completed education in gastronomy – supplemented by further management training (e.g., hotel management school or equivalent)
- Several years of leadership experience in gastronomy, ideally in a similar role
- Routine in dealing with budget, key figures, and cost control – numbers don’t scare you, they help you steer
- A strong entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to make decisions pragmatically and solution-oriented
- Leadership at eye level: You lead clearly, fairly, and with a good dose of empathy
- Very good German and English skills, additional languages are a bonus
- Strong communication skills and sensitivity – whether with the team or guests
- Passion for vegetarian and vegan cuisine as well as interest in sustainable gastronomy
