Project Manager Tailored Climate Protection Projects (gn) 80-100% at the Zurich, Berlin, Cologne or Hamburg location
Your Tasks:
- You handle customer inquiries about specific climate protection projects and create tailored offers together with the sales team.
- You advise customers on climate protection projects in the value chain – for example, on SBTi approaches or Net Zero strategies.
- You identify and develop tailored climate protection projects together with customers.
- You conduct pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for projects within the value chain.
- You develop, certify, and manage international customer-specific climate protection projects – from idea to implementation.
- You contribute flexibly to the further development of the team – your area of responsibility grows with you.
- You quickly familiarize yourself with a complex and dynamic subject area.
- You understand the needs of customers and find solutions that are technically convincing and strategically effective.
- You connect the world of NGOs, international cooperation, and the private sector.
Your Profile:
- You have a university degree (Master) or equivalent education/professional experience.
- You bring at least 5 years of experience as a project manager or in a comparable role – in the CO₂ market, in development cooperation, or in a company focused on climate protection, sustainability, or value chains.
- You have solid knowledge of the CO₂ market, interest in climate policy, and market mechanisms.
- You have experience in project development and certification, international cooperation, and offer preparation.
- You have a good understanding of customer needs, especially knowledge of climate protection projects in value chains.
- Your experience with remote sensing is a plus.
- You work structured, solution-oriented, and are strong in project management as well as negotiations.
- You are communicative, resilient, goal-oriented, and convincing in customer contact.
- You enjoy intercultural and international cooperation.
- You speak fluent German and English; French is desired.
