Assistant Physician at the Outpatient Psychiatry Unit of Nyon
To replace the incumbent during her maternity leave, the Western Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service (SPPAO) is looking for an assistant physician for the Outpatient Psychiatry Unit of the Nyon polyclinic, at 80% - 100%, from December 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Western Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service (SPPAO) is a recognized institution (A1) for FMH psychiatry and psychotherapy.
The Outpatient Psychiatry Unit of Nyon is a multidisciplinary outpatient unit that treats patients suffering from a wide range of mental disorders. The medical team works closely with all partners in the regional care network. It offers a therapeutic approach centered on the patient, their family, their context, the therapeutic relationship, and continuity of care.
Mission
- You provide direct clinical activity with the unit's patients
- You promote interdisciplinary activity in care both internally within the unit and in network with stakeholders from other units of the Northwest Adult Psychiatry Service or care network partners
- You participate in hospital on-call duty or standby service according to your position.
Profile
- You hold a federal medical diploma or an equivalent foreign title recognized by MEBEKO
- You are familiar with the CHUV environment and, if possible, the Psychiatry Department
- You have at least one year of experience in psychiatry
- You are able to work in a multidisciplinary team
- You show interest in all types of mental disorders
- You are organized and enjoy working autonomously, under supervision
- For non-French speakers, you master French (minimum B2 level certificate required).
