We are looking for you as a Frontline Logistics Coordinator / French-German Logistics Manager (a) at our Sion or Brüttisellen site.

Your role

In this position, you ensure the management of logistics flows and KONE's central warehouse, in coordination with our external partners. You also supervise handling via our transshipment points while supporting internal teams on logistics issues.

Your tasks with us: no day is the same!

• Plan, organize, and coordinate the transport of materials from external hubs to construction sites and/or our technicians' delivery points.

• Monitor and control handling operations performed by external logistics providers, ensuring order consolidation and compliance with delivery deadlines.

• Daily extraction and verification of reports to track orders in transit; proactive communication in case of discrepancies and implementation of necessary corrective measures.

• Responsible for the prompt and timely processing of all orders from the central warehouse, in collaboration with the external logistics provider's warehouse staff.

• Close collaboration with external logistics partners to ensure stock management (entry of new items and removal of obsolete items).

• Active collaboration and assistance in conducting inventories.

• Close collaboration with internal departments and management to ensure optimal spare parts logistics, ensuring availability, flow accuracy, and deadline compliance.

• Responsible for consolidating tool kits for KONE technicians when new employees join, organizing transport to technicians, and recovering kits in case of departure.

• Regular monitoring and analysis of key logistics indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement opportunities, optimize processes, and ensure sustainable operational performance.

• Awareness of logistics costs and active contribution to expense control, notably through shipment consolidation, route optimization, and close collaboration with providers for better economic efficiency.

• Regular contacts with our specialized internal services on one hand, and with our external logistics providers, customs authorities, and suppliers on the other, to ensure efficiency.

• Advice and assistance to technicians and supervisors in case of logistics issues (e.g., transport organization, delivery consolidation).

• Main contact for internal clients and logistics providers regarding logistics-related questions.

• Promotion of internal tools intended for frontline teams to help them improve their overview of the logistics flow.

• Assistance to the logistics manager in implementing local and global logistics projects.

This is what you bring: technical understanding

• Logistics CFC with at least 3 years of experience in an administrative field OR Commercial employee CFC with at least 3 years of experience in logistics

• Basic understanding of delivery process management and terminology related to shipping, contracts, legislation

• Native French speaker with very good knowledge of German (minimum B2 level spoken and written). Bilingual welcome!

• Good knowledge of English required (minimum B1 level)

• Structured and well-organized working method

• Analytical mindset

• Very good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems, ideally SAP

• Autonomous and proactive working method and high availability

• Personality capable of teamwork and customer-oriented, with a high-quality working method

• Driver's license, class B

• Availability to visit our sites and our logistics partners (2 to 3 times per month max.)
