The Clinic for Reconstructive Dental Medicine and Gerodontology is the prosthetic specialist clinic of the Dental Clinics of the University of Bern.
Our core tasks are the training of students and dental assistants, the further education of young dentists, as well as the comprehensive care of our patients.
Your role:
Are you a motivated, cheerful, and positive personality who likes to represent our clinic as the first point of contact for a large team?
Then you are exactly right with us!
In this versatile role, you are the business card of our clinic and contribute significantly to making our patients feel welcome.
Your main tasks:
- Management of patient reception together with a colleague in job sharing
 - Friendly reception of our patients
 - Receiving and processing telephone inquiries
 - Coordination and scheduling of appointments
 - Organization of the outpatient clinic
 - Processing the service catalog and providing factual information
 - Responsible for processing external referrals
 - Management of the dental stock
 - Ordering and administration of office supplies for the entire clinic
 
Your profile:
- Completed training as a dental assistant EFZ, medical secretary, MPA or comparable qualification
 - Precise, independent, and efficient working style with joy in the profession
 - Team-oriented, flexible, and resilient personality with a high service orientation
 - Very good oral and written expression in Swiss German and High German
 - Very good oral French skills, additional language skills are an advantage
 - Proficient in MS Office and experience with digital applications (HDP, Thepla, Romix)
 - High social competence, empathy, and the ability to keep an overview even in hectic situations
