Tasks:
- Taking responsibility for stations during work shifts
- Preparing dishes according to recipes and instructions from the head chef / sous chef
- Ensuring and complying with HACCP guidelines (including cleaning lists)
- Supporting orders, goods receipt, and quality control
- Contributing to menu ideas and daily recommendations
- Producing and organizing mise en place for à la carte, banquets, and special events
- Inventory management: careful handling of products, proper storage, avoiding food waste
Requirements:
- Completed EFZ training as a cook
- Experience in à la carte and banquet service (especially in the stations of garde-manger and entremetier)
- Joy and passion for preparing fresh, seasonal, and local products
- Quality awareness in work organization and food preparation
- Fair and constructive collaboration with the entire team
- Clear communication with head chef / sous chef (e.g., regarding missing products)
- Coordinated work with other departments (service, reception, pastry, back office, housekeeping)
