Polymechanic – Development

Activities

Creating prototypes, drawings, cut files, and patterns
Design, construction, evaluation, and procurement of tools and
production aids
Planning and realization of material and manufacturing costs (standard calculation) for
offer preparation for the project management
Checking material for weldability and tensile strength
Supporting project and production management in the implementation of customer solutions
(production processes, material selection, manufacturing workflows)
Supporting production in optimizing machines, systems, and tools
Supporting production in programming machines and systems

Requirements

At least basic mechanical training & further education in the field of plastics technology or
process specialist/technician
Professional experience in the industrial sector
Knowledge of conceptual project management
Good CAD skills / IT knowledge
Creativity and innovation potential
Communicative flair, good German and English skills
