What you can achieve:
- Together with a competent team, you are responsible for guarding as well as access and property control in an asylum center
- You conduct patrol services in pairs inside and outside the building
- Convey a sense of security to your fellow human beings
- With your presence, you ensure a smooth daily routine as well as peace and order
- In conflicts, you act de-escalating and intervene to ensure the safety of asylum seekers and the population
- Cooperation with various authorities
- You take on unusual security tasks in the asylum environment, such as the initial registration of new asylum seekers
What you bring:
- Minimum age: 20 years
- Swiss citizenship, C permit or B EU/EFTA
- Impeccable reputation
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, foreign languages are an advantage
- Communicative, good manners, confident appearance, and high resilience
- Willingness and enjoyment of irregular working hours (weekend and night work in three-shift operation)
- Willingness to perform at least 8 assignments of 8 hours per month
- Intercultural competence and sensitivity in dealing with different cultures
- Very good mental and physical resilience (willingness for self-defense training), physically fit
- Driver's license category B (own car required)
