About the Position
The High Voltage Products division of Hitachi Energy is globally recognized as a specialist in power transmission and distribution systems. At the Zurich-Oerlikon site, we develop and manufacture generator circuit breaker systems (GCB) and gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy. Using the latest development tools and methods, we ensure the high reliability of our circuit breaker systems and switchgear. The service unit is responsible for worldwide after-sales support of generator circuit breaker systems (GCB) and gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, additional services, troubleshooting, expansions, modifications, and replacements.
As a Site Coordinator GCB in the Service area, you take responsibility for the professional and timely execution of commissioning and maintenance. In doing so, you continuously improve processes (CIP) and contribute to high customer satisfaction and optimal project results at Hitachi Energy.
What you can achieve
In your role, you take over the organization and coordination of commissioning and maintenance work on site:
Contact person for internal and external customers
Supervision of assigned field staff, creation of assembly schedules considering available resources (tools & personnel), as well as monitoring and documentation of project progress and costs (reporting)
Responsibility for compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance measures, minimizing project costs and risks, as well as handling deviation reports including corrective actions
Compilation, filing, and archiving of technical documentation (e.g., test protocols, reports) and invoicing of performed services to the customer
What you bring with you
Completed advanced technical training or a comparable qualification
At least 2 years of practical experience in assembly as well as solid technical expertise in the power plant sector
Very good English skills and good German skills
Confident demeanor and strong communication skills – especially in dealing with different cultures
Teamwork skills combined with high organizational competence
Flexibility, assertiveness, and leadership skills in projects
Confident handling of SAP and MS Office
