School Herzogenbuchsee – Kindergarten and Primary School in the heart of Oberaargau: Centrally located on the main traffic axis between Bern and Olten, School Herzogenbuchsee offers children from the municipalities of Herzogenbuchsee and Niederönz comprehensive education from kindergarten to 6th grade. Currently, around 730 students are accompanied by a dedicated and versatile teaching team at five school and five kindergarten locations. In addition to regular classes, the school also coordinates special education in speech therapy and psychomotor skills for the surrounding schools in the region. We work with the New Authority to develop a respectful and clear attitude in dealing with students. Presence, relationships, and joint action rather than power and punishment are at the center.

Tasks
You teach a 3rd/4th grade class at our Mittelholz school location. A total of 12 classes are taught in cycle 2 at this location, including five parallel classes at the same level. You can expect an experienced class teacher, a committed team where collaboration, exchange, and mutual support are highly valued. The 10 lessons with the subjects NMG, German, Mathematics, and Music can be supplemented with 9 MR lessons.
Requirements
- You have training as a cycle 2 teacher or are completing it
- You enjoy working in a team and communicate on equal footing with teachers and parents
