These are your tasks
- Plan, operate, and monitor backup and storage solutions as well as our Kubernetes platform
- Install, configure, and patch Linux systems and manage user rights
- Create and maintain system and operational documentation
- Participate in projects to modernize IT and OT infrastructure
- Provide technical advice to employees and external partners
- Collaborate with IT architecture and IT security and coordinate solutions
What distinguishes you
- Completed training in computer science (FH, HF, federally certified computer scientist) or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience as a Linux system specialist
- Specialist knowledge in backup, storage, and DR solutions such as Veeam and NetApp as well as experience with virtualization such as VMware, KVM, or Proxmox
- Very good knowledge of Kubernetes and experience with DevOps pipeline and Ansible
- Independent, responsible, and proactive personality
- Willingness to work planned shifts outside working hours and on-call duties
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills are an advantage
