whatwedo GmbH, based in Bern, is an 18-person software studio focused on education, infrastructure, and health. We develop state-of-the-art web applications to simplify the lives of institutions and companies. Our applications are used daily by thousands of users and continuously further developed.
Your tasks
- You are the contact person for our innovative customers and lead projects through all phases from requirements gathering to implementation.
- You support the continuous development of our customers and help realize their ideas.
- You are responsible for and manage project times and costs and plan internal and external resources.
- You are motivated daily to make our customers' everyday life easier.
Your qualifications
- Training as a business informatics specialist HF/FH or sufficient practical experience in this field
- Within at least 3 years, you have proven yourself as a project manager in software development projects and gained the necessary experience.
- You bring some experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, development, or testing.
- High sense of responsibility and quality awareness, quick comprehension, and a hands-on mentality
- Agile frameworks and decentralized working methods are not foreign words to you (certifications with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Agile) are a plus)
- If you have an Advanced Certificate in Project Management (e.g., IPMA, PMI), that is a plus.
- Lots of empathy, high independence, and a good sense of humor
Our offer for you
Your salary
Your gross salary at a 100% workload is between CHF 86,000 and CHF 103,000 depending on qualifications. We have a transparent salary system in which we promote and reward loyalty, commitment, and education. We will be happy to tell you more about this during the further application process.

To organize ourselves time- and location-independently, we work remote-first with tools like GitLab, Slack, and various others. You work wherever you want, whether in our office in Bern, at home, or as a digital nomad.
