We are looking for a Sustainability Communication Specialist to join our Group and shape the future of sustainability at Endress+Hauser. You will play a key role in developing and implementing our sustainability communication strategy to better anchor the topic within our organization, enhance awareness and engagement among stakeholders, and meet the growing information requirements and reporting obligations. Your work will directly contribute to positioning Endress+Hauser as a leader in sustainability and innovation.

As a Sustainability Communication Specialist, you develop and implement impactful communication that drives awareness, engagement and transformation. You will work closely with our decision makers and experts in cross-functional teams, including sustainability, finance, marketing, and operations, to amplify our sustainability initiatives both internally and externally.
This role is positioned within our corporate function and reports directly to the Head of Public Communication. Located at the heart of our Group’s strategic activities, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our journey toward a more sustainable future.
Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
- Develop and implement communication concepts to raise awareness, inspire action, and solidify Endress+Hauser’s commitment to sustainability among internal and external audiences.
- Translate complex sustainability information into clear, cohesive and engaging messages across various channels, including digital platforms, reports, and presentations.
- Lead the concept and creation of our integrated financial and sustainability report in alignment with the European directives, EU Taxonomy, German LkSG, and other legal frameworks.
- Design and deliver creative content for communication platforms to engage key stakeholders and amplify Endress+Hauser’s sustainability initiatives.
- Foster a sustainability-driven mindset within the organization by creating assets and campaigns that motivate employees to contribute to long-term sustainability goals.
- Drive communication around sustainability in the Group-wide sustainability network
- Strategically communicate Endress+Hauser’s ESG performance to build trust, enhance transparency, and differentiate the company in the sustainability space.
- Track the effectiveness of communication activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Hold a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g. Communications, Sustainability, or related fields) with 5+ years of experience in sustainability communication or a similar role.
- Possess a good understanding of sustainability topics, legal frameworks (e.g., EU directives, EU Taxonomy, German LkSG), and industry trends to develop impactful communication strategies.
- Have excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences across multiple channels.
- Work effectively in teams and networks, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders in international and cross-functional settings.
- Demonstrate flexibility and innovative thinking, delivering high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
- Can organize and prioritize tasks efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of communication campaigns and reports.
- Are fluent in English and German.
