After many successful years, our Head of Development is retiring. For the succession, we are looking for a leader who shapes our development department with passion for technology and innovation and continues the success story of our company.
Your responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the development department: strategic orientation, organization, and structure
- Leadership and further development of an interdisciplinary team of engineers and specialists (approx. 30 employees, 5–7 direct reports)
- Planning and management of development projects throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Resource and budget planning
- Close cooperation with internal interfaces as well as external partners and customers
- Ensuring innovation, quality, cost, and deadline adherence
- Monitoring market and technology trends, implementation into new solutions
Your qualifications:
- Technical university degree (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or comparable)
- Several years of leadership experience (teams of approx. 30–40 people)
- Proven success in product development and project management
- Experience with plastics/injection molding as well as modern methods (e.g., Agile, Stage-Gate, Lean Development)
- Entrepreneurial thinking, strong leadership and communication skills
- Very good German and English skills
