Project: For our client in the financial sector, we are looking for a very experienced Software Engineer (Senior/Expert) to join a well-established DevOps team in the environment of financing and credit applications. The goal of the assignment is the further development and technical optimization of a business-critical, proprietary software solution. The clear main focus is on implementing business requirements with Java (backend) and Angular (frontend). The assignment takes place in an agile environment with high technical responsibility and long-term perspective.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
MANDATORY tasks:

• Implementation of business requirements in a complex financing application (backend: Java / Spring, frontend: Angular)
• Active design and further development of the existing software architecture
• Providing technical impulses to optimize existing solutions
• Support in the technical solution finding of new requirements
• Close collaboration in the DevOps team (development, testing, operations)

OPTIONAL tasks:

• Technical optimizations along the DevOps disciplines (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins)
• Participation in cloud or platform migration projects
• Support in operations and production topics

Requirements:
Mandatory:

• Several years of very solid project experience as a Software Engineer with Java (Spring) and Angular as main technologies
• Very good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience in agile development environments (Scrum / SAFe)
• High quality awareness as well as structured, solution-oriented working style
• Team-oriented personality with pronounced communication skills
• Willingness to take responsibility and contribute technical excellence

Advantageous:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (especially Jenkins)
• DevOps mindset and experience in collaboration between development and operations
• Experience in the financial environment (e.g., financing, credit processes, banking environment)

Languages:

• German: C2 – near-native knowledge (mandatory)
