The opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Project Manager Primary Engineering to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical planning and execution of gas-insulated switchgear projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
How you will make an impact

Technical detailing of the high voltage part of gas-insulated switchgear in customer projects, including preparation of all documents for order, fabrication, assembly and customers

Discussion of technical solutions with customers and internal stakeholders

Planning and managing an engineering part in customer projects, including costs, deadlines and scope of delivery

Ordering of material including configuration of the material

Management of technical communication channels internally as well as externally

Detailed elaboration of quality cases and improvement processes

Technical support of the project until completion of on-site assembly

Occasional travel to customer meetings or site visits
Your background
-
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

2-5 years of relevant work experience in project engineering, ideally with gas-insulated switchgear or in a similar field in high-voltage

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. Creo, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools

Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications

Ability to assist in developing project schedules and tracking progress

Familiar with supporting various project phases, including production, transportation, installation, and testing

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and escalate issues

Experience in coordinating resources, including materials and equipment

Ability to work effectively within an international team environment and collaborate with other departments

Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages (e.g. German, Spanish or French) is a plus
