The Opportunity
Are you passionate about quality assurance and eager to make a significant impact in a global program? As our Global Product Quality Manager, you will support multiple global product group like HVDC and Grid and Power Quality Solution and Service.
Your mission will be to implement a robust end-to-end product quality framework based on industry standards such as Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP,) taking full ownership of its definition, implementation, and continuous improvement. While the preferred location for this role is Sweden, other locations are possible if you can travel regularly to our main factories and sites.
How you'll make an impact

Drive the implementation of a systematic framework for quality assurance and reliability across the Grid Integration

Define the Product Quality Strategic mid-term plan and contribute to the Hitachi Energy improvement of Product Quality Assurance framework within the scope of R&D and Engineering.

Define the required quality assurance processes and ensure consistency of its application across the relevant value chain of the business.

Enable the implementation of key Product Quality Practices by creating training programs and conduct trainings in a train-the-trainer approach.

Contribute to the definition, introduction and monitoring of robust reliability KPIs and the respective tracking systems.

Contribute to building up a community of reliability professionals and closely collaborate with internal and external suppliers, manufacturing, engineering, quality organization and product development.

Be the key owner of the product reliability framework, monitoring the performance of the process and activities, maintaining the framework, and continuous improvement by leveraging on the Hitachi Energy CI framework as per Hitachi Energy Quality Policy.
Your background

Experience in the automotive industry and strong proficiency in APQP methodologies and tools.

Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

Good skills in stakeholder management and relationship-building.

Ability to excel in dynamic environments, with strong communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.

Analytical skills and a strategic mindset for quality assurance and reliability planning.
