In the Financial Accounting team, you help our bank implement and comply with regulatory requirements. You prepare financial statements, statistics, and reports, implement new requirements, and continuously develop reporting and analysis. You feel comfortable in an agile environment and enjoy working on projects. To successfully manage ongoing tasks and complex regulations, we are looking for strong reinforcement.
Your tasks
- You prepare Basel III liquidity reporting (especially LCR and NSFR) and other SNB statistics
- You continuously develop regulatory reporting and optimize business and reporting processes to improve operational efficiency
- You participate in projects and take on professional responsibility for implementing regulatory requirements
- You support the preparation of financial statements according to FINMA RelV and FINMA RS 2020/1 accounting standards and other accounting-related topics
- You represent accounting towards internal and external stakeholders such as trading, treasury, front units, audit, and regulators
Your profile
- University/FH Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking or Certified Public Accountant
- Relevant experience in the banking sector, knowledge of banking products and banking regulation with a focus on accounting and regulatory reporting. Experience in liquidity reporting is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of SAP applications and Office programs is an advantage
- Experience in project work & strong agile mindset
- Strong numerical flair, strong analytical and conceptual skills, and the ability to identify complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Team-oriented behavior, precise and independent working style, confident demeanor, and excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English
- Willingness to continuously adapt to new systems, products, and regulations
- Very good knowledge of FINMA RelV and FINMA RS 2020/1 accounting standards as well as SNB statistics
