About the job
Built in 1443 as a salt warehouse, the Palais Keller was opened in 1972 as a Bavarian restaurant in the Hotel Bayerischer Hof by Mr. Falk Volkhardt with the purchase of the Palais Montgelas. In 2019, the Palais Keller underwent a renewal by interior designer and art dealer Axel Vervoordt. In the new Palais Keller, our guests are served seasonal and regional dishes with a modern interpretation.
As part of your duties, you will perform the following tasks, among others:- Conducting professional service while observing quality standards
- Receiving, handling, and forwarding complaints to a supervisor
- Responsibility for proper invoicing and correct billing if authorized
- Preparation of events, especially setting up tables and chairs, laying tables, and performing mise en place
- Ensuring house-specific and legal hygiene regulations (HACCP)
- Successfully completed vocational training as a specialist for restaurants and event catering or comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in upscale hospitality desirable
- Openness, professional appearance, and a well-groomed appearance
- Enjoyment in dealing with international guests
- Very good German and English skills, additional foreign languages are an advantage
