About the job
The Finance Department of our Compensation and Pension Fund consists of two teams with around 30 employees in the areas of finance and debt collection. Together, they ensure, among other things, the financial stability of our Compensation and Pension Fund as well as compliance with legal and standard accounting regulations.
For the strategic and operational management of the department as well as controlling, we are looking for an experienced leader who actively supports the teams and acts as a sparring partner for the management in financial matters. You take responsibility, set clear impulses, and actively shape the sustainable development of the department.
Your Responsibilities
- Professional and personnel management of the Finance Department including support and development of the two team leaders and their approximately 30 employees
- Ensuring correct, legally and standard-compliant accounting of the pension and compensation fund (according to Swiss GAAP FER 26 and WpHG)
- Overall responsibility for budgeting, interim projections, and initiation of appropriate control and corrective measures
- Collaboration at the management level on strategic issues and active participation in the organizational and financial development
- Responsibility for annual financial statements, reporting, analyses, and presentations to internal and external committees
- Management of significant financial and corporate risks in cooperation with the audit office and insurers
- Participation in meetings and events of the founding association as well as representation towards relevant external stakeholders
Your Profile
- University degree (FH/University) with a focus on finance, accounting, controlling, or comparable professional experience; further training in the pension sector is an advantage
- Several years of leadership and management experience, ideally in the finance area of a pension or compensation fund
- Strong strategic and analytical skills combined with operational implementation competence
- Clear, participative, and appreciative leadership style and natural assertiveness
- High professional, social, and decision-making competence as well as proactive action
- Very good communication skills in German; French and Italian skills are an advantage
