At the Department of Business Administration of the University of Bern, an
Assistant Professorship (without tenure track) for Family Businesses is to be filled.
Tasks
The focus of this professorship is on teaching and research in the field of family business management. Research focuses in the areas of entrepreneurial family, innovation, and/or sustainability management are desired.
In teaching, in addition to special topics in the field of family business management, general lectures on international human resource management and innovation management should also be offered.
The teaching load is 4 semester hours per week; the courses should be able to be held in German and English.
Requirements
Employment requirements include a completed dissertation and a promising research agenda. Very good German and English skills are mandatory.

The duration of the employment is limited to four years. It can be extended by a maximum of two more years in justified cases after an evaluation by the faculty.
