Retail Specialist Textile (60%)

The Secondhand Shops department currently includes six shops in Zurich and Winterthur as well as an online shop. The sales proceeds from donated clothes, shoes, and accessories benefit our social projects. The secondhand shops represent the Caritas brand and stand for solidarity, sustainability, and well-maintained secondhand goods.

Due to a personnel change at Steinberggasse 54 in Winterthur, we are looking for a Retail Specialist Textile (60%) starting from July 1, 2026 or by arrangement.

• Professional advice and support of our customers
• Assistance with all tasks in the shop and sorting room
• Receiving donated clothes
• Sorting and evaluating donated clothing items, accessories, and hard goods
• Working at the cash register and preparing the daily accounts
• Maintenance of the shop premises and work areas
• Care of donated clothes
• Designing the shop windows
• Participation in team meetings and company events

You are a motivated, independent, and reliable person with a passion for secondhand clothing and its sustainability concept. You want to bring your great interest in fashion and your good sense of trends to us. In addition, you bring the following:

• Completed training as a retail specialist (textile sector) or several years of experience in sales in the textile industry
• High social competence and enjoyment in dealing with people
• Resilience and flexibility
• Quick comprehension and interest in learning new things
• Experienced use of electronic communication tools (MS Teams)
• Very good knowledge of German
