Your tasksAs a Data Scientist / AI Engineer, you will take on a variety of technical tasks in exciting Data Science and AI/GenAI projects. You will contribute to the conception and be responsible for the development and implementation of solutions in these areas.
- Realize end-to-end Data Science and AI/GenAI projects from requirements to delivery. Your expertise leads us to success.
- Analyze and model data as well as evaluate and communicate results to various stakeholders.
- Model complex business problems with machine learning: you select appropriate methods and models, adapt them to customer data, and optimize them as needed.
- Create processes and data pipelines to prepare raw data for model training and inference.
- Create, maintain, and optimize AI-Ops pipelines to automate model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary IT and engineering teams. Project teams often consist of specialists and experts from our customers or other ELCA departments.
- Build technical know-how and actively contribute to knowledge sharing.

- A completed master's degree at a technical university (ETH/UNI)
- You have the ability to present complex issues clearly and convince through an independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Solid knowledge of Python or other programming languages. Experience with data science and machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), data analysis tools (e.g., pandas), and MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow)
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and big data platforms (e.g., Spark, Databricks) is an advantage
- Ideally, initial experience in the AI field as a Data Scientist, AI Engineer, or in a similar position.
- You enjoy sharing your knowledge and actively contributing to the team.
- Fluent in German and English
