Database Automation Engineer / Data DevOps (Oracle)

Implement the industrialization of the Oracle database lifecycle for non-production environments (DEV, IAT, UAT, etc.). Main objective: automate the creation, synchronization, and promotion of schemas and data to enable the rapid availability of independent environments.

Context: modernization of a Legacy system. Application CI/CD already in place. Scope focused on DB.

Responsibilities:

• Design and automate provisioning processes for non-prod Oracle environments

• Automate synchronization of schemas, data, and stored procedures

• Set up and maintain DB-oriented automation pipelines

• Industrialize SQL script management (versioning, promotion, validation)

• Standardize DB industrialization tools and patterns

• Document technical procedures

Requirements

Profile sought:

• Proven experience in an industrial Oracle context

• Automation-oriented, not application development

• Comfortable with Legacy environments and industrial transformation

Mandatory skills:

• Oracle 12c+ (administration and automation)

• Advanced SQL / PL-SQL

• Experience in DB automation and industrialization

• Practice of DB script versioning (Git or equivalent)

Desired skills:

• .NET (C#, .NET Core) for internal tooling

• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Git, Jira)

• Azure (basic knowledge)

• Agile methods

• Insurance knowledge

Soft skills:

• Ability to structure and industrialize

• Collaboration with technical teams

• Proactive attitude

Languages:

• Fluent French
