Sustainability Specialist 50%
Your responsibilities
- Support the execution, monitoring, and reporting of ESG initiatives, including data collection for sustainability reports and greenhouse gas accounting.
- Contribute to improving ESG data management processes, tools, documentation, and preparation for audits, recertifications, and sustainability ratings (e.g., EcoVadis, ISO 14001).
- Help coordinate the global internal ESG network, including organizing meetings, workshops, and preparing related materials.
- Manage sustainability‑related inquiries, questionnaires, and audits from customers and suppliers, and support the creation of standardized responses.
- Assist with internal and external ESG communications, such as intranet content, sustainability campaigns, website updates, customer information, and marketing inputs.
- Prepare presentations, factsheets, and briefings on sustainability topics for management, employees, and customers.
Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field, equivalent training or experience is also welcome
- 3–5 years of professional experience in a corporate environment
- Familiarity with greenhouse gas inventories (GHG Protocol) and a good understanding of relevant reporting and disclosure standards
- Clear and confident communication skills in English and German; additional languages are a plus
- Strong analytical abilities and high comfort working with data, especially in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Entrepreneurial and audience‑aware mindset with strong conceptual abilities to drive cross‑functional initiatives
