Certified nurse for the Endoscopy Service / Intervention Rooms
To complete its team in the intervention rooms, the endoscopy service is looking for a certified nurse at 80%-100% from November 1, 2025, or a date to be agreed upon.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The endoscopy center is a multidisciplinary technical platform involving several medico-surgical disciplines (Hepato-gastroenterology, otorhinolaryngology, pulmonology, urology, pediatrics). Endoscopy allows either diagnosis or treatment of a disease. It is organized according to scheduled or emergency care 24/7. For non-transportable patients, endoscopy can be performed within the operating room, the premature infant pavilion, the emergency department, intensive care, or continuous care.
Mission
- You ensure all tasks necessary for the preparation and performance of endoscopic procedures, as well as patient sedation
- You ensure the removal of medical devices, patient safety, as well as the safety of colleagues, and you respond to any unforeseen events during examinations.
Profile
- You hold a HES nursing diploma (or an equivalent title deemed equivalent, as well as recognition from the Red Cross, mandatory)
- You have an interest in technical aspects
- You have the ability to establish an effective relationship with the patient in a very limited time
- You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team and have the skills for it
- You have a sense of responsibility, show initiative, have good organizational and adaptability skills, technical ability, and are flexible.
Depending on your profile, the salary class may vary between level 8 and 9.
