About the Position
As a commissioning engineer, you drive continuous improvements in our production processes and testing technologies – focusing on secondary technology, gas-insulated switchgear, and the commissioning of control cabinets. You lead cross-departmental projects, support the introduction of new products, and provide practical training to employees. By developing standards and best practices, you ensure quality and efficiency sustainably.
What You Can Achieve
Project management of cross-functional projects in operations while adhering to time, target, resource, and cost requirements
Redesign and further development of test systems for factory testing of control cabinets for gas-insulated switchgear
Training of employees in production [theoretically and practically] in the areas of control, current/voltage transformers, and commissioning of control cabinets
Coordination, evaluation, and implementation of the introduction of new products or technologies according to standards defined by customer requirements, guidelines, and industry standards
Support of production during the commissioning of internal and external processes and equipment, especially in the commissioning and functional testing of control cabinets
Active participation in the planning, execution, and documentation of the commissioning of control cabinets, including error analysis and optimization potentials
Definition of action plans and training of the corresponding maintenance and production resources
Definition and implementation of standards as well as documentation of proven practices and procedures for all new and existing products to ensure the required quality and productivity
What You Bring
You have a technical education in the field of secondary technology (e.g., electrical engineering, automation technology)
You bring experience in project management, ideally in an industrial environment
You have knowledge in secondary technology, especially with control cabinets, drives, as well as current and voltage transformers
You are familiar with the development and optimization of test stands and test procedures
You have experience in training employees, both theoretically and practically
You are familiar with the introduction of new products and technologies and can evaluate and implement them according to standards and customer requirements
You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and have good communication skills
You are proficient in German and English, both spoken and written
