The Fairmont Spa, a true haven of peace in the heart of the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, offers its clients a unique wellness experience thanks to modern facilities and exceptional treatments carried out in collaboration with the prestigious brands Biologique Recherche and Swiss Perfection Montreux.

Your mission?

As a Reception Intern at the Fairmont Spa, you will be the ambassador of excellence and well-being. Your role will be to warmly welcome our clients, advise them on our services, and ensure a unique and special experience from their arrival.

Summary of responsibilities:

Reporting to the Assistant Director of the Fairmont Spa, the essential responsibilities and functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service,
• Inform and advise clients optimally at Reception,
• Help clients navigate within the Fairmont Spa and inform them about the services and products used,
• Welcome clients, explain and sell products and accessible activities and services,
• Coordinate reception and client requests,
• Inform clients about programs and schedules,
• Coordinate client payments and communications,
• Ensure clients are directed to the right places for their treatments or activities and in contact with the appropriate staff,
• Report all issues and complaints related to the Fairmont Spa,
• Be in contact with relevant departments to confirm reservations, ensure maintenance and cleaning, and overall operation while respecting standards,
• Communicate all necessary information during meetings to optimize the success of the Fairmont Spa and the services offered,
• Open and close the Fairmont Spa if needed,
• Promote the Fairmont Spa,
• Commit to the quality of your service, discretion, and perfect honesty,
• Maintain a professional attitude, be smiling, and remain calm at all times,
• Be flexible and cooperative in all circumstances, especially if required to work occasionally in another department,
• Respect ergonomic work standards in health & safety rules, hygiene and sanitary prescriptions,
• Respect the policies, procedures, and service standards of the department and company,
• Any other tasks as assigned.

• Internship as part of hotel training
• Fluency in French
• Good knowledge of English
• Russian or Arabic language is a plus
• Proficiency in computer software
• Flexibility and initiative
• Sense of hospitality and sales
• Adaptability
• Composure (handle customer complaints and emergency situations)
• Rigor and organization
• Good presentation

VISA REQUIREMENTS

To work in Switzerland, the candidate must possess a Swiss work permit or be from an EU-17 or EU-8 European country.
