With nearly 1,400 employees, the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics is a medical center focused on the elderly, spread over 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour (Stern), and Joli-Mont.
It manages acute situations, notably through the geriatric emergency services and the intermediate care at the Trois-Chêne Hospital, acute units some of which focus on geriatric syndromes, units for geriatric rehabilitation , musculoskeletal, cardiological , neurological and oncological rehabilitation, and long-term care units. It also includes a specialized palliative care service, a community geriatrics unit , a liaison geriatrics unit, and the Memory Center .
The Memory Center is located in Cluse-Roseraie and addresses the multiple challenges posed by memory disorders. It offers diagnosis based on state-of-the-art techniques, multidisciplinary care, and individualized therapies. Patients can participate in research projects and test new medications.
Job Description
As part of your activities, you provide courteous, personalized, and professional reception to patients, the public, and staff, both face-to-face and by phone. Working in a dynamic environment characterized by a high flow of patients and a fast-paced work rhythm, you demonstrate responsiveness, versatility, and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring the confidentiality of information.
You inform and guide people presenting at reception and collaborate closely with various medical and paramedical teams, as well as services involved in the reception chain (admissions, care units, consultation centers, etc.).
You handle admission formalities for outpatient and hospitalized patients, respecting institutional procedures. You also perform tasks related to billing, insurance coverage requests, and patient file control, ensuring quality and compliance with deadlines.
Organized and autonomous, you know how to manage priorities and work efficiently under pressure while contributing to smooth collaboration within the team.
Qualifications
You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification and have a good command of computer tools (Office suite).
With at least two years of experience in a similar role, you are comfortable with administrative procedures related to insurance, patient reception and admission, billing, and appointment organization.
You are recognized for your organization, rigor, and autonomy. You have excellent interpersonal skills and a very good team spirit.
You also have the tools to handle unforeseen events and easily manage stressful situations.
Finally, you demonstrate a strong sense of confidentiality.
