The Cantonal Tax Office is responsible for enforcing the provisions of federal, cantonal, and municipal taxes. It ensures the complete registration of all taxpayers, professional and customer-oriented tax assessment, and uniform tax collection.

The Withholding Tax Department of the Cantonal Tax Office St.Gallen is responsible for the correct and uniform accounting of employees subject to withholding tax.

Clerk Withholding Tax (m/f/d)

Workload: 80-100%

Workplace: St.Gallen

What to expect

• You record and manage employees subject to withholding tax as well as employers required to submit accounts
• You check and process the submitted withholding tax accounts of the employers required to submit accounts
• You answer specific questions about withholding tax and carefully examine the concerns
• You advise and support employers and employees in all matters related to withholding tax and draft the associated correspondence
• You provide information by phone and in writing
• You take on special tasks in the area of withholding tax

What distinguishes you

• Completed commercial basic training with several years of professional experience
• Knowledge in the field of taxes, especially in the area of withholding tax, is an advantage
• Quick comprehension, resilience, independent work
• Good communication, negotiation skills, and confident appearance
