To complete our R&D team located in Selzach (SO), we are looking for a
R&D Engineer 80-100% (w/m/d)
Your responsibilities & tasks:
Leading and executing R&D projects in the field of PVD/PE-CVD-coatings for tools
Development and optimization of coating recipes and coating processes
Assisting project engineers in technically demanding customer projects with R&D support
Representing PLATIT R&D in development projects with universities and partner companies
Attending scientific conferences, giving talks, and presenting papers
Your qualification:
Master's degree in the field of engineering, physics, material science, or chemistry, PhD is benefical
Several years of work experience in R&D, either as part of a PhD program or in industry
Knowledge in the field of vacuum technology and PVD/PE-CVD-coatings
Ability to work in an organized fashion with a scientific work approach
Proactivity, flexibility and "hands-on" mentality
Experience in the metalworking and tooling industry are beneficial
Fluent in English. German and other additional languages are beneficial
