Polyclinic, emergency, outpatient care, hospitalizations: from birth to old age, the Morges Hospital offers a wide range of care services. The facility has 240 acute care beds, a maternity ward with about 1,500 births per year, and nearly 30,000 emergency consultations. In total, more than 40 medical disciplines have been practiced within its walls for over 150 years. Surrounded by vineyards, with an incredible view of the mountains and the lake, Morges Hospital welcomes you in a warm and dynamic setting.
The outpatient oncology service cares for patients with oncological or hematological diseases. Several chief physicians conduct medical consultations there, and a nursing team provides care and treatments in a room with 12 chairs.
We are looking for our outpatient oncology service at Morges Hospital a:
Health Assistant (M/F) at 40%
WE OFFER YOU
- The opportunity to work in a multisite outpatient oncology and hematology service in interdisciplinary collaboration with various stakeholders such as: clinical nutrition, psychologist, social worker from the Vaud Cancer League, and the medical team of the service (oncologists and hematologists)

YOU HAVE
- A Red Cross health assistant diploma or deemed equivalent
- Experience acquired in acute care
- Good organizational skills (anticipate, plan, coordinate) and rigor
- A strong sense of listening and excellent interpersonal skills as well as the desire to develop them in a proximity-fostering environment.
- Discretion, tact, courtesy, and patience.
- Good emotional control and the ability to take a step back.
YOUR OBJECTIVES
- Ensure the care of the patients entrusted to you in respect of institutional values.
- Collaborate with nursing staff for care by promoting social connection, listening, and empathy.
- Be attentive and understand patients' needs as well as contribute to their hydration and nutrition if necessary.
- Participate if needed in accompaniment in other services (radiology, floors, etc.)
- Ensure the supply of materials in the care room, care carts (orders, refills)
- Ensure the delivery of treatments from the PIC to the service
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the care and work environment
- Maintain equipment respecting service instructions as well as hospital economy and hygiene criteria,
