The IT Services (ITS) of the University of Basel provide information and communication technologies for teaching, research, and administration as a central service provider. They support and advise the over 19,000 members of the university.

Your tasks

You have solid computer skills, especially in handling Windows operating systems and common applications (Microsoft Office, Mozilla Firefox, etc.). Ideally, you are also familiar with Windows scripting (Windows Batch and Windows PowerShell). Additional knowledge in macOS and directory services (Active Directory, Group Policies) is a plus but not mandatory for entry.

Your profile

You are studying at a Swiss university, work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and are proficient in German and English. Furthermore, you are a team player, and your communication style is characterized by friendliness, openness, and solution orientation.

We offer you

The workload is a maximum of 12 hours per week. The position is limited to one year, with the option of extension. Remuneration is according to the university regulations for student assistants.
