The Lake Zurich Education Center (BZZ) is a cantonal vocational school with locations in Horgen and Stäfa. We train apprentices in the professions of media technology, computer science, and childcare and offer commercial training programs. Computer science middle school students attend specialized classes at BZZ. As a recognized vocational baccalaureate location, we offer the commercial BM type business. The Lake Zurich Education Center, with about 140 teachers and 2180 students, relies on digital support and well-functioning IT systems for administration.

To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a committed and independent personality on a fixed-term basis for one year, starting immediately or by arrangement, who is not only familiar with 1st and 2nd level support but also actively thinks along, helps shape, and proactively accompanies the implementation of cantonal IT projects on site.

Your tasks
- Plan and implement cantonal IT projects on site independently
- From scope and timing through realization to acceptance and handover to operations
- Design and introduce new IT solutions in close cooperation with internal departments and cantonal partners (pilot, rollout, change & training)
- Analyze, optimize, and implement digital processes - user-oriented and efficient
- Conduct internal application training and create related materials/how-tos
- 2nd-level support (hardware/software) including root cause analysis, sustainable troubleshooting, and knowledge base maintenance
- Participate in rollouts, migrations, and system adjustments (e.g., M365, endpoints, identities)
- Documentation and quality assurance in projects and ongoing operations (standards, checklists, operational documentation)
Your profile
- Completed IT training (EFZ/TS/HF or equivalent)
- Several years of experience in 2nd-level support and in implementing/managing small IT projects, ideally in the public sector
- Solid knowledge of AD/Entra ID and Microsoft 365 (e.g., Exchange, Teams/SharePoint), network basics (DNS/DHCP, VLAN), print management, and AV technology
- Confident in scripting (PowerShell) and automation; ITSM understanding (ticketing, SLAs, change/problem management) and very good documentation practice
- Communicative, service-oriented personality with a structured, solution-oriented working style and joy in teaching
- Very good German skills (C1) in spoken and written form
