Human Resources Officer

For us, personnel work is much more than administration. We accompany people, provide orientation, and ensure that employees feel well cared for from the first contact to their departure. With heart, clarity, and a fine sense for different needs, we design processes that make everyday work easier and enable development. To keep our HR professional, reliable, and humane, we are looking for a personality who enjoys supporting people and actively shaping our personnel processes.
Your tasks and roles
Personnel Administration
- Personnel administration of all Streetchurch employees (entries and exits, further training, interim and work references)
- Coordination and administration of recruitment and application processes (publication of job advertisements, application management)
- Management and administration of physical and digital personnel files (including data & document security)
- Monitoring work and vacation balances as well as internal mandatory training (including ensuring compliance with labor law requirements)
- Processing of sickness and accident reports
- Administration of civil service workers (deployment agreements, expense reports, work references)
- General administrative support of personnel management and personnel development
Vocational Training
- Support and coordination of the annual recruitment processes for apprentices (advertisements, application management, assessment planning)
- Personnel administration of all apprentices of the Zurich church community (contracts, work permits, interfaces with the vocational training office, work references)
- Management and administration of physical and digital personnel files (including data and document security)
- Ensuring interfaces with payroll administration, including accident and sickness notifications
- Participation and organization of various events for apprentices throughout the year (introduction week, apprentice weekend, excursions)
Your profile
- Commercial training or equivalent experience as an employee in administration
- Additional qualification in personnel or corresponding professional experience
- Course as a vocational trainer or willingness to further education
- High independence and initiative as well as efficient and goal-oriented work
- Flexibility and willingness to provide service
- Friendly and cheerful personality with a likeable and confident appearance
- Teamwork skills and very high social and self-competence
- Very good Microsoft Office skills
