What you'll be doing here
- Teach acting to students in the Bachelor Theatre as well as the Master Acting for Screen & Digital Media at HKB (one-to-one and group tutorials, mentoring)
- Supervise and mentor students in their practical artistic projects
- Actively contribute to the ongoing development and evaluation of the acting course together with the other teaching staff and represent the department to the outside
- Take part in departmental planning meetings and conferences, conduct examinations and serve on electoral commissions
- Initiate or contribute to artistic and research projects of the department as and when required and in line with your expertise
What you'll bring with you
- University degree in the area of acting or directing as well as adequate professional experience in the arts with excellent methodological knowledge in the field of acting training
- Communicative resilient, socially competent and independent personality with proven artistic qualifications as well as teaching experience at university level
- Extensive experience in practical work with actors at public theatres, theatre academies or in the media sector
- Artistic open-mindedness for transdisciplinary projects. Experience in the field of artistic research is also appreciated
- Native German or English with very good command of the respective other language (C1 level)
