The Swiss Saltworks ensure the salt supply for Switzerland on behalf of the cantons and the Principality of Liechtenstein. The saltworks currently operate 3 saltworks with their associated mining areas. In Schweizerhalle and Riburg, extraction takes place using the leaching process in various brine fields, and in Bex underground also using the leaching process. The safe extraction of the approved salt deposits is essential for all of us. As part of further expansion, we are looking for the following employees for the drilling and brine field operations in the Riburg/Möhlin and Pratteln area for our 2-shift operation:

What you can achieve with us

• Carrying out drilling and workover operations, independently and safely performing mechanical interventions on wells, e.g. pipe changes, pipe installation, pipeline modification work, backflushing, milling and cutting work, fishing (retrieval work), etc.
• Operation and monitoring of drilling rigs and equipment, responsible for the correct handling, inspection, and maintenance of the machines and tools used. Safe handling of suspended loads, hydraulic tongs, winches, swivel heads, rotary tables, pumps, flushing circuits, and various measuring devices
• Support in compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Wellhead security, active participation in daily safety meetings (toolbox talks), use of personal protective equipment, implementation of HSE requirements, and immediate reporting of deviations or near misses
• Maintenance and servicing of equipment, performing regular functional tests, cleaning, and minor maintenance measures on tools and systems.

Your know-how and background

• Technical training (drilling technology, civil engineering, etc.)
• Car license and for the logistics & maintenance position only with truck license
• Knowledge in hydraulics, pressure and control technology, construction machinery, etc.
• Understanding and operation of fluids under pressure
• Hands-on, reliable, open team player, fluent German skills
