Tasks/Responsibilities
What awaits you:
- Management of construction projects from planning and design to construction execution, taking sustainability criteria into account
- Management of investment and maintenance projects on railway facilities and roads
- Planning of medium- and long-term procurement as well as renewal of infrastructure
- Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and external stakeholders
- Definition and implementation of the procurement strategy
- Preparation and responsibility for tender and award documents
- Coordination and management of subcontractors
- Monitoring of construction execution regarding deadlines, quality, and costs
- Contact person for authorities, suppliers, subcontractors, and other external parties
Skills
What you bring:
- Completed studies as a civil engineer
- Several years of professional and project management experience in construction
- Sound knowledge of tendering, awarding, and construction contract law
- Entrepreneurial thinking as well as structured and independent working style
- High service orientation and strong cost awareness
- Very good communication skills and confident appearance
- Experience in structural analysis is an advantage
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills are an advantage
