MANAGING DIRECTOR FINANCE 80%
Your chance to help shape the future of HZH
You will jointly shape the strategic development and entrepreneurial orientation of the Special Education Competence Center together with the management. We support and promote children and young people with cognitive impairments or complex multiple disabilities. In doing so, you bring your expertise in finance and accounting to bear and develop networked solutions in close cooperation with internal and external partners that strengthen the institution in the long term.
Your tasks
- Responsible for the entire finance and accounting (financial and management accounting, payroll accounting, financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER, budgeting, controlling, reporting) with occasional involvement in day-to-day business in close cooperation with the finance specialists
- Preparing financial documents for the Chair of the Executive Board, the Board of Trustees, and the authorities
- Further developing and digitizing financial processes as well as support services, including the ICT strategy in cooperation with the Head of Support Services and external partners
- Leading the Support Services department with around 20 employees, including two team leaders
- (Co)leading cross-departmental projects and coordinating decisions with internal and external stakeholders
- Close cooperation with the Chair and the entire management team in the further development of the institution and corporate management
- Jointly representing the Operations Processes area (Finance, Support Services, HR, Communication) with the Human Resources and Communication management
Your profile
- Degree in business administration (FH/University) and several years of professional experience
Solid knowledge in finance and accounting, especially controlling and cost accounting - Leadership experience and project management experience (digitization, process optimization)
- Experience in an SME environment and a strong understanding of practical solutions
Strategic, networked thinking combined with the willingness to also contribute operationally when needed - Service-oriented, proactive personality with strong implementation skills
Value-oriented, reflective, collegial, and humorous - You understand collaboration as co-construction and joint design
