What to expect
- You take end-to-end responsibility for the further development of market- and customer-oriented pricing strategies and for the business backlog in pricing
- You prioritize initiatives, translate new requirements into concrete measures, and accompany the adjustment and improvement of existing pricing models and tools with a focus on business impact
- Close collaboration and strategic consulting with category management, sales, controlling, and other key areas. You also act as an interface between IT / Product Office and the business
- Responsibility for the development and implementation of a scalable, data-driven discount and condition structure to promote transparency and efficiency in pricing
- Further development, analysis, and targeted use of pricing key figures (KPIs) for effective control and optimization of price performance
- Analysis of market and competitive data to identify trends and develop well-founded strategic recommendations for management
- Initiator for the technical and professional development of tools for dynamic pricing
- Conducting complex data analyses to identify optimization potentials and prioritize measures
- Planning and evaluation of pricing tests (e.g., A/B tests) as well as responsibility for success measurement
- Proactive optimization of price processes and models through innovative approaches and best practices
What you bring
- Completed studies (FH or university) in economics, business informatics, or a comparable field
- 5–7 years of experience in pricing, ideally in e-commerce, retail, or data- and process-oriented environments
- Sound knowledge in price strategy, price analysis, and optimization methods
- Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to prioritize requirements as a business owner, design processes, and successfully implement initiatives
- Very good analytical thinking skills as well as an affinity for numbers and data
- Experience with analysis tools (e.g., Excel, R, Python, SPSS, Jupyter) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- High personal responsibility, structured working, and solution-oriented thinking
- Strong communication skills and confident appearance in exchange with various stakeholders
- Ideally experience with change management initiatives
