At the Jeremias Gotthelf Research Center, Department of Narratives, a position for a scientific assistant (non-PhD) is to be filled. A dissertation related to the subject area of the research center can be written concurrently.
Tasks
Your main tasks include collaborating on the edition of the narratives of Albert Bitzius (Jeremias Gotthelf).
Requirements
- Master's degree in editorial philology or German studies (literary studies).
- Experience in the field of editing and/or archives, as can be acquired, for example, through an internship or assistantship.
- Knowledge of XML-TEI is desirable.
- Interest in working on an interdisciplinary long-term editorial project between editorial philology, German studies, history, and theology.
