About the job
Your Tasks
You work in a team of medical physicists closely with the clinical departments of KSA and independently take on tasks in supporting our partner hospitals in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
In your field, you are the contact person regarding radiation protection, especially for:
- Compliance with legal requirements and advice on radiation protection
- Medical physics support (Art. 36 StSV) for the application and optimization of radiation in diagnostic and therapeutic areas
- Dose management
- Creating instructions and quality manuals
- Support during radiation protection audits
- Approval procedures (BAG)
- Training, further education, and continuing education in radiation protection
- Structural radiation protection
- Patient and personnel dosimetry
- Reporting in radiation protection
Your Profile
You are characterized by responsibility, reliability, as well as a structured and careful way of working and ideally have:
- Completed university degree in physics or a comparable field (Master or Doctorate)
- Ideally SGSMP specialist recognition
- Professional experience in medical physics in a hospital environment is an advantage, both in clinical routine operations and in projects or research work
- Strong ability for interdisciplinary collaboration with all clinical professional groups
- Good IT skills, especially in data analysis, programming, or the use of medical software systems
- Didactic skills and enjoyment in conducting practical and theoretical training
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as very good English skills are required
