Introduction
The city of Adliswil is a dynamic city with a high quality of life that has grown rapidly in recent years. With customer-friendly services, the administration is there for the approximately 19,700 residents.
As preparation for the Information Science BSc degree program, we offer you the opportunity to complete the internship year required for admission to the program at the Adliswil Regional Library. Therefore, we are looking for an intern starting January 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

These are your tasks
During the internship, you will get to know the professional everyday life of our lively, attractive, and modern regional library and gain insight into the diverse areas of work. Working hours are based on the opening hours (including Saturday shifts) of our regional library.
What we expect from you
Do you have a high school diploma or vocational training with a vocational baccalaureate and are you interested in a university of applied sciences degree in information science? Are you sociable, fascinated by the field of regional libraries, and interested in books and new media? Then we look forward to getting to know you!
Our offer to you
We offer you a modern infrastructure in the city’s regional library as well as a collegial and appreciative environment. Currently, we are in a temporary location as the Brugg building is being renovated and rebuilt. The move is planned for spring 2026.
If interested, a part-time position in the city archive in the area of "cataloging" can also be taken over.
