Quality Control Manager for the Cellular Production Center
The Directorate of the Department of Interdisciplinary Centers (DCI) is looking for a quality control manager at an 80% rate, for the Cellular Production Center of the pharmacy, within the framework of a permanent contract. The starting date is scheduled for March 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research, and education.
The Department of Interdisciplinary Centers (DCI) includes notably the central operating block, the endoscopy center, the Emergency Service, the Pharmacy Service, and the Adult Intensive Care Service. Its mission is to guarantee highly specialized care, ensure quality training conditions (initial and postgraduate), as well as to develop research projects and quality approaches.
Mission
- You manage the quality control activities of the CPC
- You assume responsibility for quality control of the structure both at the analytical and documentary levels
- You undertake research and development of quality controls in cell therapy
- You contribute to the management and improvement of the quality management system
- You study the means and resources necessary for new tests
- You participate in fundraising for research programs in the field of cell therapy.
Profile
- You hold a PhD in biology or pharmaceutical sciences or chemistry or an equivalent degree
- You have at least one year of experience managing a quality control laboratory team
- You have good adaptability and an excellent team spirit
- You have good knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP)
- You have knowledge of a LIMS-type computer tool, necessary
- You are fluent in English (spoken and written).
